We are delighted to have found in Marjorie Jorrot such an experienced Art Buyer and photo specialist and welcome her as a member of the GoSeeAWARDS jury. The native of France worked in Paris as a picture editor for several years before moving to Berlin and working for almost a decade in art buying at Heimat and Jung von Matt/Spree where she learned and perfected the art of art buying in more than 100 productions per year. Together with Aras Sehatkar, she was recently responsible for the art buying and the design unit of Jung von Matt/Spree. In 2014, they founded the WE ART AGENCY, an agency for art buying and art production. With their keen nose for trends and talent,WE ART finds photographers, illustrators, set designers and visual artists and books them for campaigns and projects.

Are you commissioned directly by brands and labels or are you booked for outsourced art buying by advertising agencies? WE ART AGENCY is not just a group of freelance art buyers but an agency where we all work at the headquarters. After we get to know each other briefly, we normally work from our offices. In addition to traditional advertising agencies and magazines, we work for direct clients and institutions. One pillar of our expertise is certainly the area of transportation. We recently supported projects for Mercedes. We are also cooperating with a client magazine in the areas of accessory & jewelry and organizing various still and people shoots at the moment. A large part of the inquiries we receive have to do with mood boards and trends. We consult brand agencies in the development of imagery and looks. Depending on the brief, budget and requirements of the project, we propose a number of artists who we consider the perfect match. To do so, we do not only rely on our artists we know, but try to build new teams.
Your website regularly showcases exciting creatives? There is a lot of great talent out there who often don't have the right platform to present their work and get noticed. We inspire creatives and anyone who is interested with fresh artists while not forgetting to appreciate our experienced professionals. We launched the platform WEART.CO and are very glad to open our archive and share it with the public.
