Marc BEAUSSART enjoyed a 'Carte Blanche' for his five photos for the 'Olympia Issue' of 125 magazine – ooh la la as the French say …. !
Maak ROBERTS photographed 'Shadowplay' as a personal project. It takes us way back to our own childhood, full of unbridled imagination and the world was – to be honest – a bit more interesting somehow. Hence, some shadows turn into the feared teacher before the first day of school, flowers transform into love-to-hate cauliflower, while fruits and snacks shape a dragon.
Tony CHAU travelled all over the globe, to countries ranging from Hong Kong to Turkey, to capture the essence of each destination and the spirit of its locals. Back in the UK, he and his team photographed an impressive series in bonny Scotland, only to conclude the creative streak with a shoot in London's lively Brick Lane neighbourhood for the new ZIPCAR campaign.
We are delighted to showcase a luxurious motif taken from the current CAPTAIN MORGAN campaign, photographed by Jillian LOCHNER. More News: Jillian's app is now on air, so if you fancy following her, download the free app right here: DOWNLOAD
Hannah MAULE-FFINCH photographed the Y CARE INTERNATIONAL charity campaign in Cambodia. The trip revealed the extremely challenging conditions people in the slums of Phnom Penh fight for survival in. Kids without families, without education, the only chance to survive is to rummage around in other peoples' rubbish and hope to find edible scraps.
Y Care International supports the kids with a basic education and at least one meal a day. Important fact: many of the kids photographed by Hannah were lucky enough to be rescued from the clutches of children-traffickers.
The second series was produced in London, where the photographer accompanied martial arts fighter Kofi from training to the fight. Most of the motifs were shot in and around the Gloves Boxing Club (glovesboxingclub.com) in North London.
Sam BARKER photographed the very atmospheric SURF IRELAND motifs plus the spot, as well as a hilarious for up and coming band HARRY OAKWOOD. You can find it here on GoSee or at www.germaine.co.uk/sam-barker/motion.
