Heritage company BRANDT’s Zwieback with the famous chubby-cheeked boy on the front says goodbye to traditional family clichés. In the new large-scale TV campaign, produced by PALLADIUM, we see a gay couple, a single father and a little Casanova, amongst others. The campaign motto is ‘Brandt - Da steckt das Gute drin’ (Brandt packed full with good stuff) and they produced five different 15-second commercials. TBWA Düsseldorf agency developed the new brand presence. You can see the first three advertising films from 25 August on German TV channels ARD, Vox, Sat.1 at RTL. They plan to release 1,000 broadcasts, which aim to attract 700 million contacts.
The head of marketing for Brandt is Andreas Loch. Norbert Quadflieg was in charge of creation from TBWA agency. PALLADIUM, Cologne, produced the commercials under the direction of Mona EL MANSOURI c/o DBC - DRIVEN BY CREATIVES. The responsible media agency was Initiative.
Christopher Ferkinghoff, director of the Hagen based company, says: ‘Brandt is a brand for everyone in today’s world. That’s why we left the cliché of the traditional family behind in our commercials.’ All five films are based on care – as a central value of the Brandt Zwieback brand image. The company also re-launched the website accordingly (agency: Necom, Hürth).
