About - Peruvian Connection was founded in 1976 by mother-daughter team Biddy and Annie Hurlbut after an inspiration on the other side of the globe. While conducting anthropological research in Peru, 19-year-old Annie fell in love with the extraordinary hand-woven mantas and ponchos, which she discovered in the markets of Cuzco, the historical capital of the Incas.
