The AIGNER Fall/Winter ‘20 XXL campaign featuring German supermodel Kim Riekenberg – photographed by ANDREAS ORTNER

Discovered as a model at the age of 16, German native and New York resident Kim Riekenberg has long since worked for famous designers and renowned photographers. ANDREAS ORTNER photographed the German supermodel for the new AIGNER Fall/Winter 2020 campaign in his Munich-based studio. Styling: Lynn Schmidt, hair & make-up: Ben Mayer.

AIGNER on the campaign: “Out now: the new AIGNER Fall/Winter 2020 collection “Romantic Abundance” captured by famous photographer Andreas Ortner with international supermodel Kim Riekenberg, the face of the campaign. Bohemian chic and timeless design. The #AIGNER Fall/Winter 2020 collection “Romantic Abundance” symbolizes a plethora of ideas and the fusion of contrasts, where the style of the wild 70s meets the elegance of the 30s. In its 55th anniversary year, AIGNER’s Fall/Winter 2020 campaign is dedicated to the idea of sustainability, focusing on the glorious past of the brand, combining vintage second-hand AIGNER pieces with styles specially designed by Creative Director Christian Alexander Beck.

Meet the first highlight of the Fall/Winter 2020 collection: the AIGNER Verona Bag. Available in Black, Cognac and Country Green in three different sizes. And meet an AIGNER classic, the Genoveva Bag line – roomy shoulder bags inspired by saddle bags from the AIGNER archives with an added front pocket.”

More information on the beautiful accessories is available on the website of the traditional Munich-based company.

About Andreas Ortner

Andreas C. Ortner, born and raised in Innsbruck, Austria has worked in the fashion industry for over twenty years. This "self-made-man" began working as a photographer in 2005, when he bought his first camera, an analogue Pentax, at a flea market in Brooklyn, New York. Analogue photography requires photographic craft and knowledge; he likes the responsibility that comes with it and the discipline it teaches you. He also embraces these skills in digital photography: thinking before taking a shot.

Andreas has traveled and photographed extensively throughout the US, Europe, Canada and Asia, and on his journey he had the chance to work with inspiring personalities such as Steven Klein and Terry Richardson. Love has brought him to Munich, Germany. Now he shares his time between Munich, New York and Paris. His imagination and the ability to push boundaries in fashion photography provide emotional depth in his photographs. He finds his inspiration in everyday life itself and the experinece he has made on his journeys.

Andreas is unique in our industry, his professionalism and perfectionism are known to his many clients such as Baldessarini, Bogner, Lacoste, Mabrun, My Theresa, Passigatti, Dimitri, Deichmann, Jelmoli, Jung von Matt, Grey International, Ambiente, Burda etc. He has launched several exhibitions e.g. "UN HOMMAGE A LA PASSION" at the W Hotels all over Europe, and at the Art Basel in Miami and Tokyo.

In 2013 Andreas' work for Vogue Russia has been nominated at the "Festival International de la Photographie de Mode" in Cannes for best picture of 2012. His work has been published in many international fashion magazines including: Vogue, Elle, Grazie, Harper's Bazaar, Vanidades, Cosmopolitan, Untitled, Complot, Factice, Belane, Love Paper, Le Mile, Marie Claire France and Gala.
