We are delighted to introduce Claudia Hofmann as a jury member of the GoSeeAWARDS. She works as a Fashion Editor, stylist and consultant for international fashion clients and magazines such as Harper's Bazaar, Glamour, GQ, Vanity Fair, Star, Wallpaper, SZ-Magazin, Icon, Tush, Strenesse, St Emile, Escada, Esprit, and Wolford, s.Oliver, Marc O’Polo, Triumph, Adidas, Puma, Samsung, BMW, Mercedes, Toyota, Opel, VW... just to name a few.
Claudia Hofmann is co-founder and Creative Director of the fashion online portal Stylebop.com. Her expertise in fashion and trends have brought her onto the board of the Fashion Council Germany where she is responsible for Education and the new Fellowship Program by the FCG and H&M as well as the Mentoring Program, which the Fashion Council realized together with the Senate Department for Economics, Technology and Research. Their aim is to find and promote German fashion labels with potential. Claudia was able to get H&M on board for it. The protegés are supported by the exclusive network of the Fashion Council Germany. High-carat experts from H&M teach them theoretical and practical skills to build and expand their own brands.
You work as a freelance stylist and a Fashion Consultant – what projects are you working on at the moment? For WOLFORD, I work on the visual realization of the new image and shootings. For various clients, including STRENESSE, I am in charge of consulting and styling for campaign shoots. What interests me are exciting projects – whether fashion or beauty – especially combined with the new possibilities the digital world has to offer. What also interests me are innovative new ideas and promoting young designers and talents.
We are very delighted that you are supporting us in the jury of the GoSeeAWARDS. Over the past years, we have been able to find great talent – who are represented today and realize contract work – and who also make a bigger publicity splash in larger target audiences with exciting projects. Your work is very similar because you have put together a jury for the Fashion Council, for which young fashion designers can apply? The Fellowship Program by the Fashion Council Germany and H&M can be broken down into the areas of Leadership & Self Discovery, Theoretical Skills/Supply Chain and From Idea to Realization. It covers the topics of merchandising, customer service, marketing and successful sustainability work. To this end, the fellows go from department to department at H&M on a global and local level. Offering young design talents a continuous and and sustainable support so that their national and international visibility are strengthened is considered by H&M as part of its social responsibility.
To find out more about it and see other projects by Claudia Hofmann, come to UPDATE16 on 30 September at Kronprinzenpalais. We bring you her latest works here on GoSee.
