Berger Fine Confectionery is located in Lofer in the Salzburg region of Austria. It is known for its use of organic, fair-trade ingredients and its artfully designed, seasonal collections. The family business uniquely combines traditional confectionery craftsmanship with modern design and a strong commitment to sustainability.
The motifs shown here, themed around 'BERGerLEBEN' , are the work of interior and set stylist Carline van Oel.
In addition to the summer collection shown, the team creates changing themed collections for Christmas, Easter, and Mother's Day, always characterized by distinctive, artistic packaging design.
The company was founded on September 23, 1994, by Hubert and Christine Berger. What began as a two-person operation in a tiny, 25 m² garage in Lofer (Salzburg region) has grown into a renowned manufacturer with around 100 employees and eight of its own branches.
Despite its growth, the manufactory remains true to its artisanal roots. The delicate praline fillings are still cooked in a classic copper kettle, poured by hand into wafer-thin chocolate molds, and then artfully decorated by hand.
For its exquisite fillings and creations, Berger uses raw materials from the immediate vicinity. These include fresh organic whipped cream, Alpine hay milk, local herbs, and fine fruit brandies from the region.
The campaign images were photographed by Ludwig Rosenlechner.
Clear, minimalist graphic structures with detailed, playful elements are her trademark – Carline van Oel is a renowned interior and prop stylist originally from the Netherlands who has lived and worked in Germany (Munich) for over 15 years. Her visual style is characterized by a keen sense of balance, rhythm, and storytelling.
Carline van Oel is represented by the Munich-based agency STILLSTARS.
