Bettina Lewin : WEMPE spot, Kirsty Bertarelli in PORTER mag, Fall/Winter trends for LEWIN custom clothing, THE KNOT mag, ANTHROPOLOGIE, BHLDN wedding fashion, PERUVIAN CONNECTION, beauty for BULOVA watches

For the winter issue of THE KNOT magazine, Bettina LEWIN photographed the editorial 'Great Expectations' in Greystone Court, in beautiful Yonkers, New York: a legendary estate which sparks the imagination. Under the direction of Fashion Editor Jennie Ma, Morgan Gibbons styled Victorian-inspired looks on model Andie. Hair was done by Vivi Lapidus, make-up by Leanne Hirsh, and post production by Andreas DORIA c/o UPFRONT. Photo Director: Kristin Giametta, Art Director: Meghan Corrigan.

In addition, Bettina LEWIN portrayed Kirsty Bertarelli for PORTER magazine. The portrait of the British-Swiss singer and songwriter, as well as former Miss United Kingdom was shot on Lake Geneva. Hannah Cole was the Porter stylist in charge, and the talent’s styling was done by Chloe Richardson.

Commissioned by LEWIN Custom Clothing & Accessories, Bettina LEWIN photographed the Fall/Winter 2015 trends of the Hanseatic Materials Administration (HMV) between puffer fishes and ocean giants. lewin.de

Commissioned by the agency Leagas Delaney Hamburg, Bettina LEWIN realized the newest impression clip of the watch and jewelry store WEMPE. Responsible for the look of model Anastasiya ANTONYUK c/o LOUISA MODELS and Cameron LEE c/o KULT MODELS were stylist Jürgen Claussen, make-up artist Eva Hennings, and hair specialist Sascha KUSCHEL c/o CLOSE UP. The Production was handled by GoSee member NORTH SOUTH PRODUCTIONS. Creative Direction: Regine Berndt.

Even 20 years after ANTHROPOLOGIE was founded in Wayne, Pennsylvania, the individual mixture of apparel, accessories, gifts, and home decorations is as exciting as ever. The fashion photographer staged the January Web Creative Fashion production in an old house on Staten Island. The Art Director responsible for realization was Meghan Eplett – model Ming XI stood in front of Bettina’s camera. anthropologie.com

For BHLDN, the ANTHROPOLOGIE wedding label, Bettina LEWIN festively staged the bride and groom Ava Smith and Ryan Schira, who are also a couple in real life. "That was fantastic for the subject! It was a great priviledge to meet them and to work with them," the photographer tells GoSee. We present you the romantic fashionable result. Bhldn.com

The PERUVIAN CONNECTION summer catalogue was created in wild Belize. "An incredible nature adventure and a great team! And the mosquito bites still haunt us today," Bettina tells GoSee. Also on set were Art Director Donna Puleo and Andrea Menke for styling. In front of her camera stood Lola McDonnell.

Together with stylist Morgan Gibbons, who initiated the work, photographer Bettina LEWIN realized a story about flowers. Her idea are reminiscent of the portraits by Sir Thomas Lawrence, especially of the picture "Julia, Lady Peer". Model Zhenya perfectly conveyed the melancholic mood. The beauty look and hair styles were created by Steffen Zoll at the shoot, which took place in the beautiful Beaver Studios in Manhattan.

A personal work was realized by Bettina with the accessories of Wendy Nichol – a label which stands for jewelry, handbags and fashion made in New York City.

About Bettina Lewin

Bettina Lewin was born in Hildesheim, Lower Saxony, Germany. When she was as young as 9-years-old, she was determined to become a Photographer one day. After completing High School, she left for Barcelona where she started working as a Photographer for the independent magazine, V.O.; and produced a campaign for a Spanish fashion chain with just 4 rolls of film and 1 lens. The campaign was a huge success. In an unexpected turn, Bettina was then presented an opportunity to become a Beauty Editor, which she accepted and held for 12 years. Despite her success in this role, she never let go of her deep love for photography and decided to resign and return to it. Her work has since been shown in many exhibitions.
In 2001, Bettina became a full-time Photographer.
