Estonian politician and committed European Katja Kallas was once again seen in action at the Munich Security Conference. Katja Kallas served as Prime Minister of Estonia from 2021 to 2024 and has been the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the von der Leyen II Commission since December 2024.
Benne Ochs photographed the accomplished politician in Brussels: "Benne Ochs travelled to Brussels to portrait Katja Kallas for Monocle Magazine. In the 16 minutes he was granted, he achieved some great portraits of one of Europe's leading politicians," we quote the Berlin-based agency EMEIS DEUBEL, which represents Benne Ochs.
The EU High Representative represents the EU to other states (e.g., the USA, China), international organizations (e.g., the UN), at summits and international conferences, with the aim of speaking with a common European voice.
