Offf sees itself as an ‘International Festival for Post-Digital Creation Culture.’ In 2001, the Offf Festival was held in Barcelona for the first time under the name of Online Flash Film Festival. Since that time, it has taken place once each year, usually in the month of May. Over the course of three days, international artists present works in the areas of graphic design, visual communication, digital art, electronic music and moving images. One main aspect of the festival is that it is a place for artists from around the world to come together to work creatively and experiment while discussing the newest trends in the digital world.

VASAVA describes itself as an ‘independent strategic design and branding agency based in Barcelona’ : “We Do It Ourselves, from illustration to video to CGI. The number of visitors of the OFFF festivals is currently constantly increasing yearly. Besides the presentation of the main topics such as graphic design or promotion and TV clips, Offf is mainly shaped by keynote speeches and conferences.

FOREAL c/o ANALOG DIGITAL was commissioned by the agency MullenLowe New York to design a number of characters for the Brooklyn Film Festival 2022. Topic : ‘Something to Offend Everyone’ – because the Brooklyn Film Festival is quite proud of never censoring its filmmakers but instead letting them express themselves however they want.
And with more than 140 uncensored films in 2022, it was clear that there would guaranteed be ‘Something to Offend Everyone’ in the showcase. The campaign wants to encourage the audience to leave their comfort zone and show how to discuss all the new ideas, thoughts and points of views they encounter at the festival the way they see fit.
Founded in 1998 by Executive Director Marco Ursino, Susan Mackell (Director of Development), Abe Schrager and Mario Pegoraro (Director of Programming), its mission is to “discover independent filmmakers, showcase their work and promote new talent while at the same time putting Brooklyn on the global map as a cinematic hub.”
