10-4 Africa proudly presents their latest production for BNP Paribas, the Paris-based global banking giant. Their Wealth Management campaign was produced by CD Christian Vouhe c/o Publicis, with Azim Haidaryan c/o Quadriga as photographer of choice. A crew of 40 was on location for this mega-job, all seamlessly overseen by 10-4's experienced team.
The huge visual variety on offer in and around 10-4 Africa's home town of Cape Town was superbly tailored to three different A-list clients. David James (owner of London based creative agency David James Associates) creatively directed while photographer Vincent Van de Wijngaards (c/o Art and Commerce) used classic landscapes to capture the stylish black & white imagery for PHILIP LIM's Spring Summer 2014 collection.
Jacob Suton (c/o D+V) shot high fashion for NUMERO magazine amidst a sand storm in Atlantis Dunes, against the grand scale of the Cape Town Stadium, and in the striking shadows of the Taal monument. Styled by Sheila Single with model by Auguste Ameliunaite c/o Women Paris.
Fine art photographer Jackie Nickerson returned to the fashion world for an much-anticipated collaboration with trend setting magazine ANOTHER. The shoot was inspired by her work and travels around Africa (recently on show at the Shainman Gallery in New York), showcasing high fashion through portraits of farm workers in their unique dress and environment. The shoot was magnificently styled by Dazed and Confused fashion editor Katie Shillingford.
The team carried out a top-end production for Mr. Price in London with South African based photographer Vaughan Treyvellan. The South African retailer teamed-up with British designer Henry Holland, whose celeb-inspired summer range was modelled by Kelly Osbourne and Pixie Geldof. With 10-4 being a global production company, the London office stepped in as local production to effortlessly handle things on the ground in London town. Pooling local and international resources, 10-4 was able to offer Mr Price the best of both worlds.
Moving effortlessly from fast-paced Europe to remote East Africa, the team produced for UK HARPERS BAZAAR with D+V’s Liz Collins. Shooting just outside Nairobi on the grounds of Giraffe Manor, this shoot was chosen for the cover of Harpers Bazaar's March issue, beautifully styled by Leith Clarke who has been making waves within the fashion industry for some time now. Flying north to a remote lodge and being met on the runway by local Masai warriors set the tone for the second leg of the shoot. Shooting on the banks of a river in the presence of sunbathing crocodiles, inquisitive baboons and majestic elephants, the Harpers team enjoyed a truly African experience.
