For Salon Magazine, Benne Ochs spent a day with the founders of the Danish project eliaselias, capturing them in a design portrait.
Behind eliaselias are the two namesakes Benjamin Elias and Elias, who, after years in the vintage and design scene, joined forces in 2019 and have since developed a distinct approach to furniture, objects and spatial concepts.
Their work is defined by a strong affinity for sculptural forms, craftsmanship and carefully curated pieces with a sense of history.
"We share the same passion for sculptural objects, aesthetics and art. A great piece is often a no name design, made by a cabinetmaker that put all their love into their work. You can choose to live however you want, there are endless possibilities of how you want to create your personal interiors.
