ANNALENA x VERENA present a new hybrid editorial somewhere between winter road trip, fashion story and AI-generated mountain landscapes. The project began with a real journey to Wengen, Switzerland - a car-free, snow-covered alpine village that fascinated the creatives so deeply it eventually evolved into a complete visual narrative.
The series follows three friends during their winter holiday - between quiet moments, spontaneous adventures and vibrant pop colors in the snow. The result is a mix of real photographed models, studio setups and AI-generated environments inspired by the atmosphere of Wengen and the Swiss Alps.
Verena Knemeyer was responsible for photography and scene development, while Annalena Rumler handled AI photoproduction and postproduction. Together, the duo develops a visual language somewhere between hybrid photography, contemporary outdoor aesthetics and cinematic storytelling. In front of the camera: Linus Keudell, Josie Ehlers and Lorraine Juliette (Styling: Tini Rathe, Hair & Make-up: Steffanie Kroll, DOP: Moritz Fischinger, Digi & Light Tech: Lea Ebert).
“Wengen in Switzerland stole our hearts on an actual vacation. We loved it so much that we turned it into a hybrid story,” say the creatives about the project. More work is already set to follow.
