Vidal Sassoon was a British hairdresser and businessman. In the 1960s, he became famous for developing the geometric style and for the revival of the bob haircut. His friendship with designer Mary Quant, known as the inventor of the miniskirt, opened the door for him to a clientele of models, actresses and the high society. He later established hair salons throughout the UK and USA under the name Vidal Sassoon and successfully sold the haircare series named after him.
