On 25 October, State Secretary Dr. Ralf Kleindiek opened the exhibition "All the People" at the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs in Berlin. Trans, Inter, Queer – the photo exhibition "All the People" by GoSee member BERND OTT and Author Emily Besa shows gender diversity in all of its facets.

“Our society spans the entire spectrum of sexuality and gender identities, and every human being has the right of self-determining how to express their own gender identity. As the ministry responsible, we have clearly taken a stand for necessary legal changes in order to strengthen the people's right to self-determination when it comes to gender diversity,” Dr. Ralf Kleindiek says in his opening speech.

The book and exhibition project are aimed at eliminating prejudices, building bridges and revering and respecting human existence in all its forms. The persons portrayed describe themselves as transgender, intersexual, gender-fluid or non-binary people – others who were photographed don't wish to be put in a box.

“Sometimes it's the little coincidences in life. I got to know State Secretary Ralf Kleindiek a few months ago at an event of the Salzburg Global LGBT Forum. Our small exchange led to a contact a few weeks later; he was very impressed by our project and has made this exhibition here possible for us,” Bernd said during the opening.

The Federal Ministry for Family Affairs is committed to ending discrimination against people based on their sexual orientation or gender identity. Within the federal government, it is responsible for coordinating issues and tasks concerning lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual and transgender or intersex people.
