'The Devil's Dress' interpreted by Michal Borremans and Neo Rauch's 'Heilstätten' on show at David Zwirner Gallery NY - and here on GoSee

You will be able to enjoy a range of very impressive works until the 17th at New York’s David Zwirner Gallery. We are talking about an exhibition by established Belgian artist Michael Borremans with the endearing title of 'The Devil's Dress', a title that is inspired by the core collection piece itself.

Does the devil wear red or Prada after all – well, we never really thought about it to be honest. We always imagined him strolling around in the nude or in some other form of inappropriate attire? And much more hairy too? Or is this just an exploration of what would surely be an uncomfortable sartorial choice?

Michael and gallerist David Zwirner could not care less, because all motifs sold out right off the bat. And we are quite pleased that we had a rare chance to experience the whole cycle as a whole and in all its glory in the impressive NY gallery.

Another exhibition is Neo Rauch, who has already become something like a superstar in his German heimat and we covered him often and happily here on GoSee. It's quite the experience to hang out between artworks that are worth a few millions, including a private tour by Veronique Ansorge, the German contact of the New York gallery. Thanks a lot indeed! Of course, the Neo Rauch exhibition is also sold out to the last piece.
