Lennart Brede explores the intersection of photography, film and digital transformation with his project “Allez Gut, Johanna”.

His AI-generated film is based on a real dancer and photographs taken by Brede himself. Artificial intelligence becomes a tool for visual transformation, turning photographic moments into a new world of moving images. A project that raises the question of where photography ends and a new form of filmmaking begins.

Until 22 October 2026, Anna Laudel Gallery in Düsseldorf is presenting Lennart Brede’s solo exhibition “Allez Gut”. Launched as part of DC Open, the exhibition brings together new photographic series by the artist, who works between Berlin and Portugal. At its centre is the figure of the “Broken Knight of Abendland” – a fractured knight caught between strength and fragility, protection and vulnerability, self-assertion and dissolution. The film “Allez Gut, Johanna” is also part of the exhibition and was created in collaboration with Ümmü Yıldız, Lucia Leonce and Alina Süggeler.

Alongside his artistic projects, Lennart Brede is also an internationally active advertising and fashion photographer. His commercial work is represented by Rockenfeller & Göbels.
