For the third season of the hit series 'Star Trek: Strange New Worlds', MONDLICHT STUDIOS, together with the creative agency Rhubarb and the teams at CBS Studios and Paramount+, created the central key poster artwork.
The studio was responsible for the complex CGI elements that visually extend the iconic Star Trek universe for the new season. The goal was to expand the series’ aesthetic without losing its original identity - a careful balance between futuristic visuals, classic sci-fi iconography and contemporary design precision.
The final composition is based on photography by Pari Dukovic, whose cinematic portraits provided the perfect foundation for the digital development. Building on this, MONDLICHT STUDIOS created a series of highly detailed CGI elements – spacecraft, light effects, material surfaces and visual enhancements that carry the signature Strange New Worlds look while pointing toward the future of the franchise.
The result is a key poster that appeals to long-time fans and new viewers alike: an artwork that unites narrative depth, visual scope and the exploratory spirit of the Star Trek universe in a single image.
A project that once again demonstrates how MONDLICHT STUDIOS use CGI and digital craftsmanship to expand cinematic worlds and visually reinterpret iconic brands.
