Rain of awards! Photo books from EDITION LAMMERHUBER receive five awards at the renowned ICMA – International Creative Media Awards

Since 2010, an international jury of experts has awarded the ICMA annually. The ICMA Award, launched by Norbert Küpper, is a global competition for corporate media, books, corporate design and magazines. It provides an overview of contemporary graphic design and is primarily intended to promote the exchange of creative ideas at an international level and reveal trends.

GOLD in the Photo books photo reports category went to Sarah Caron for PAKISTAN, BRONZE in the Art books · books about artists, books by artists category went to Gerd Ludwig for BEUYS LAND and in the Book Design category the OPEN YOUR EYES catalog was awarded the Award of Excellence.

The awards ceremony will take place on March 10, 2025, traditionally on the eve of the London Book Fair in London.

And here is the jury's reasoning: PRISMA - Art.Work.Book: The book is a little smaller than DIN A3 and has a landscape format. It is a leporello, hand-bound. You can stand the book up and enjoy a photo exhibition. One side has the photos, the other the texts. The ICMA evaluates the concept and design of the media. According to organizer Norbert Küpper, International Editorial-Design & Research Forum in Meerbusch, the editorial texts cannot be evaluated because the submissions now come from all over the world.
