Welcome back! We are delighted to welcome FRANK GRIMM back at GoSee and present you his latest news and editorials. The photographer, who lives in Hamburg, has made himself a name internationally as a fashion & portrait photographer
Commissioned by Brandbuilding Studios in Berlin, he photographed the Spring/Summer 2016 collection for the porcelain manufacturer KPM, The Royal Porcelain Factory in Berlin. The motifs were realized in Cape Town with up to seven models in dinner scenarios. Afterward, he took it to the picturesque Cape coastal highway with Southern European flair in an oldtimer once more for KTM. Creative responsibility was in the hands of CD Wolodja Salzmann with styling by Martina Nelles. Bert Kitzerow c/o LIGANORD and Josephin Martens c/o BIGOUDI were in charge of hair & make-up of the models. GoSee member FIRST PRODUCTIONS with Melanie Bold took care of production on location. Post production was done by Elektronische Schönheit.
About - KPM The Royal Porcelain Factory in Berlin (Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin) was founded in 1763 by Frederick II of Prussia (Frederick the Great). Its actual origins, however, lie in three private enterprises, which, under crown patronage, were trying to establish the production of "white gold" (i.e. porcelain) in Berlin from the mid-18th century onwards. The company logo is a cobalt blue scepter, which is stamped (painted prior to 1837) on every piece. All painted pieces produced by KPM are signed by the painter. The KPM is still producing to this day; each piece of dishware and decorative porcelain is entirely unique. kpm-berlin.com
