Photographer and director SACHA TASSILO HÖCHSTETTER brought the ANA ALCAZAR F/W 25 campaign to life with a fairytale-like, dark, and poetic vision. The campaign explores the question: "My true self or just my reflection?" It contemplates, "Am I really me, or is it just the image of myself in the mirror?" This profound theme is brought to life through the campaign's aesthetic details.
The custom-built studio set, which perfectly complements this introspective concept, was used for both the photo and motion picture campaign. Brazilian model Clara Avelino from São Paulo embodies this duality in a seductive way. Her portrayal of herself and her reflection captures the essence of the campaign's concept, evoking a sense of fascination and self-reflection.
The styling was decided on set by the client, and hair and makeup artist Rebecca Kugler perfected Clara's look. The production took place in Munich at the newly opened Hot Studio. With its fairytale atmosphere, the ANA ALCAZAR F/W campaign invites contemplation of identity, perception, and the blurred line between self and reflection.
