Marcus Philipp Sauer : BMW CONCEPT m135i, PORSCHE CGI motif, MINI BAKER STREET, BAYSWATER and HIGHGATE models and KIA EM campaign

A total of five beauty and three detail pictures where photographed by Marcus Philipp Sauer in the studio in just 16 hours for the BMW CONCEPT m135i. Afterwards, the pictures enjoyed even more attention during 17 hours of post-production. Everything had to be ready and shiny for the Genevan Autosalon.

The concept focuses on the meticulous study of a BMW M Performance car with a six-cylinder motor, a consistently progressive advancement of the new BMW 1's dynamic character.

A collaboration with the Kemper Kommunikation Agency from Frankfurt and RECOM Stuttgart resulted in a further CGI PORSCHE MOTIF, to be used worldwide. The focus of the production was the new PORSCHE BOXTER. The backplates and spheres were already photographed in California last autumn.

Another collaboration, this time with the Plantage Agency from Berlin resulted in a high-quality studio catalogue for the MINI special edition models BAKER STREET, BAYSWATER and HIGHGATE. OEW, Munich was in charge of the post-production – here are a few motifs featuring the Bayswater and Highgate models.

A MINI edition model is arguably the most exclusive way of leaving a lasting expression on the street. Selected MINI models come in limited editions and with accessories that are just as limited and extravagant, which are always perfectly in tune with the models as far as material and colour is concerned.

KIA EM’s 'Our Dream-Team' campaign was realised with the Innocean Worldwide Agency in a studio in Frankfurt. Approximately 150 square metres of real lawn had to be cut, prepared, laid out and watered to be filmed afterwards. The post-production was in the hands of GoSee member MAINWORKS from Frankfurt.

About marcus philipp sauer

Born 1972 Marcus Philipp Sauer did not get a camera at 6 years and become a genius like 80 % of photographers. He went to a couple of schools, until he got bored. After 3 years of photographer apprenticeship he took a time out and went to Australia for a longer period and enjoyed life, women and....then he ran out of money and had to leave paradise.

He went back to Germany to become an assistant, and earn some money. He assisted for exactly 6 months, by then he was sick of the narcissistic photographers. 2001 Marcus took a credit from the bank and did a range of free car tests, built up his portfolio and even find an agent who scored some small jobs for him.

Slowly the jobs went bigger and bigger and Marcus built up his own paradise with his work. He is here and he just loves it...
