For the new SPORT CONRAD catalogue, Manuel FERRIGATO and his team traveled to the Maira Valley. “A secluded valley in Piedmont, untouched nature with a spectacular scenery. Scattered in the midst of the wild mountain landscape are a handful of ancient villages. Here, we encounter what there’s hardly any place for in our hectic everyday lives : quiet. And with it, we also always come in touch with ourselves,” Manuel tells GoSee. What Manuel stages in his photos is a look in the mirror of the landscape. “A look which gives us an idea of our own possible freedom. And the colors of late summer in the valley perfectly fit the new collections.”
To celebrate the 125th company anniversary, SPORT CONRAD also produced a magazine with Manuel’s photos in addition to the classic catalogue. Today, a passion for mountain sports and the experience in nature are still in the DNA of this family business in the fourth generation. The cooperation between the photographer and SPORT CONRAD has existed since 2017, and production of the next summer catalogue is about to begin.
Plus, Manuel is now represented by the agency Neubauer in Munich.
