Beyond Noise, an independent multimedia platform launched in 2023, was founded by renowned stylist and creative director Sarah Richardson—formerly of i-D and Document Journal—alongside Richard Bush and Stefan Ericsson.
For the "Beauty of Summer" editorial, Betina Du Toit photographed model Maryamo Musse in London for Beyond Noise magazine.
The magazine is published biannually and features a distinctive two-part format: each issue consists of two separate volumes housed together in a high-quality slipcase.
Putting the planet first, the magazine is printed on certified sustainable paper using vegetable-based inks at a facility powered entirely by solar energy.
In addition to her editorial work for titles such as Beyond Noise, Pop Magazine, V Magazine, and Nylon, Betina Du Toit regularly shoots global campaigns for luxury and beauty brands including Chanel, Dior, Issey Miyake, Westman Atelier, and Charlotte Tilbury.
As for how the three founders know each other: Sarah Richardson and Richard Bush are married. The stylist and the renowned fashion photographer have worked closely together in the fashion industry for many years. Swedish tech entrepreneur Stefan Ericsson joined the team as an investor and business partner; he built his career and wealth over many years as a top-tier financial expert and executive in the global hedge fund industry.
