Karina Bednorz : MINI BODEN beach story, CHICCO Spring/Summer 2015, HARPER’S BAZAAR Germany jewelry editorial, and book project 'DDR limited' for SKJERVEN/CENTRAL BERLIN

On the sunny Spanish isle of Ibiza, kid's specialist Beatrice HEYDIRI had a horde of wildly romping boys wearing the new MINI BODEN summer styles in front of her camera. The beach story titled 'Brezzy Little Brit Boys' was handled on location by Dolce Vita Productions. Elle Lines did the styling with hairstyles by Hester Van Overbeek.

For the launch of the new CHICCO Spring/Summer 2015 children’s and baby collection, the label 'opened' a fairytale-like candy store, which provided photographer Beatrice HEYDIRI c/o KARINA BEDNORZ with a dreamy backdrop for her shoot. Bronwyn Henning dressed the little models, and Elma Storm added a light touch of make-up. The shoot in Cape Town was coordinated by GoSee member NORTH SOUTH PRODUCTIONS, and the entire crew turned became roadies to build the set.

Gouden Gloed – personal spread by Beatrice HEYDIRI c/o KARINA BEDNORZ.

The new May issue of HARPER’S BAZAAR Germany shows a delicate jewelry editorial, which was photographed by still-life specialist Jens BÖSENBERG c/o KARINA BEDNORZ. The center of the bejeweled happening: accessories made of rose quartz. Post production of the pictures was done by GoSee member RECOM.

The real-estate group SKJERVEN and the housing company CENTRAL BERLIN commissioned KARINA BEDNORZ photographer Jens BÖSENBERG to document both life and style of the former East Berlin socialist boulevard, still referred to as Karl-Marx-Allee... and where was it planned: Strausberger Platz. The book titled 'DDR limited', which was created by André Wyst and Stephan Schilgen, is available immediately through Gestalten Publishers.

About This Book The Karl-Marx-Allee is East Berlin’s former socialist grand boulevard. It is framed by striking seven to nine-story residential and office buildings that were built from 1952 and 1958 as part of the German Democratic Republic’s most comprehensive urban architectural achievement of the postwar years. CENTRAL BERLIN, DDR limited documents the aesthetic of the boulevard and where it originates, the Strausberger Platz. shop.gestalten.com

About Karina Bednorz

THE BEAT GOES ON!
