Kung Fu meets fashion! Fashion photographer Pascal Albandopulos is already ringing in the coming spring season with his latest editorial. The winter solstice is just up ahead, and soon the days will be longer again. Here on GoSee, we bring you his series Wing Chun, which translates to 'Ode to Spring'. In front of Pascal's camera stood Caroline Sünderhauf c/o MUNICH MODELS, with styling by Valerie Uckermann.
An eye-catcher besides the models are the wooden dummies as part of the set design. They were all handcrafted by Olli Marschall. The artist born 1966 in Southern Germany has worked as a freelance sculptor since he was 20 years old, as well as a Wing Chun Kung Fu teacher with his own school. It all started with the construction of several wooden Kung Fu training dummies. Marschall became famous with more than a hundred solo exhibitions, e.g., at the Munich Airport, at the Max Plank Institute, at the German State Theater in Munich, at the Bavarian Ministry of Justice as well as at the large Botanical Garden. Further works by Pascal are available on his Webseite and here on GoSee.
