Go & See because we think it’s shshsh - sharp : Tic Tac Toe vs. SIXT

Sixt isn’t afraid of controversial advertising – and we all like it. The rental car company has already had its fair share of creative ads in Germany and the current commercial spot is no exception. The musical viral video features the German girl band Tic Tac Toe with a different version of their ‘90s hit ‘Ich find Dich Scheisse’ (I think you’re shit).

The blonde SIXT employee, who is the opponent fighting against the sexy T trio, gets points for her good looks, but seems a bit too tame for us.

Two of the original group members - Jazzy (Marlene Victoria Tackenberg) and Ricky (Ricarda Nonyem Priscilla Wältken) are joined by another fighter and they don’t take one step in the wrong direction. In fact, they don’t walk at all, but use special fighting cars to get around, appropriately painted in the competitor’s colours. Trains, swords, spurs, dinosaurs, snow… they certainly didn’t skimp on the props. Typical Sixt.

And thus it’s no surprise that our Sixt blonde can squash the competition with her high heel breaking manoeuvre without missing a beat.

Even if the end with the young superhero is not super smooth – everybody knows the transition from creation to message is a minefield - we think the T trio is really shshsh… sharp!

We would also like to mention their online project ‘make your own music video’ at www.schschsch.de. Sixt is starting an integrated campaign in the business and consumer press, as well as at airports and social networks. Tony Petersen Film with director Zoran Bihac was in charge of the film production.
