'Exclusive Olive Neo color, historically inspired decorative graphics, and the legendary Pascha pattern in the interior: Porsche presents the 911 Spirit 70 at the Shanghai Auto Show. This convertible, limited to 1,500 units, embodies the essence of the 1970s and early 1980s.' PORSCHE.
The 70s represent pure joie de vivre like no other decade. So it was only logical that the theme for the shoot was also based on this glamorous, hedonistic, and auspicious era. HE & ME photographed the car for the campaign on behalf of the agency Grabarz & Partner in Lisbon, Portugal.
"We worked on set in parallel with Roman Copolla, who directed the film for the 911 Spirit 70," the photographer duo HE & ME told gosee.news. Roman Coppola is the brother of director Sofia Coppola and the son of Hollywood director Francis Ford Coppola.
Created as part of the Heritage Design strategy, this collector's item is already the third 911 model in which Porsche revives an era using iconic design elements from earlier vehicles.
"From a design perspective, the Heritage Design models occupy a special position within our product strategy. They visualize what makes the Porsche brand so special. The design of each of our vehicles draws on history. The limited-edition vehicles in the Heritage Design series go a step further. They demonstrate how we reinterpret historical design elements in a state-of-the-art sports car." Michael Mauer, Head of Style at Porsche.
The sports car manufacturer intends to further expand its customization options: Porsche already offers more than 1,000 Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur options. Over the past five years, the average sales per vehicle with Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur options has doubled. In order to fulfill even more individual customer dreams in the future, the capacity of the Exclusive Manufaktur is to be significantly expanded in the future.
