Photographer and director WOLFGANG ZAC is now represented by SEVERIN WENDELER - and kicks off his collaboration with an impressive campaign for ERSTE BANK and GEORGE, the digital banking platform of Erste Bank and Sparkasse.
“Investing is not a privilege” – that’s the core message of the new campaign by JUNG VON MATT DONAU, offering a fresh and unconventional perspective on modern finance. Oversized suits, bold colors, and exaggerated silhouettes dominate the visuals – a deliberate break from traditional banking imagery.
The campaign aims to remove the intimidation factor from investing and to show that wealth management today has many faces – regardless of age, background, or experience. “With this new campaign, we invite users to explore the world of investment through the George app,” says Maja Kölich, Head of Marketing at Erste Bank.
Gerd Schulte-Döinghaus, Creative Director at JvM Donau, adds: “We wanted to deliberately break with the usual financial stereotypes and open up new visual perspectives on the topic of investment.”
WOLFGANG ZAC studied at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna before beginning his career as a photo assistant in New York. Today, he divides his time between Los Angeles and Berlin, working globally across advertising campaigns, fashion productions, portraits, and art projects. For Wolfgang, stills and moving images are inseparable – two sides of the same creative energy. He moves fluidly between camera, direction, and DoP work – fast, intuitive, and without any creative disconnects.
His clients include Apple, Samsung, Adidas, Jack Daniel’s, Jägermeister, Porsche, Volkswagen, Hugo Boss, Coca-Cola, Red Bull, Erste Bank, and many more. His work has been honored with numerous awards, including Cannes Lions, ADC Global & Germany, LIA London International Awards, D&AD, Eurobest, and listings in Lürzer’s Archive “200 Best Ad Photographers Worldwide.”
