The source of inspiration for the “Rue du Coeur” line is the legendary route of the queen of all trains, the Orient Express: Designer Guido Maria Kretschmer whisks with his collection all fashion aficionados off on a journey from Paris to Constantinopel. In the line created for OTTO, he presents clever details from the 1920s and 30s, such as glittering fringes and golden art deco prints, but also intercontinental influences including Asian-inspired patterns and maritime tones. The line presented in Berlin is meant to spread a feeling of transition, joie de vivre and joy.
