Die Arbeiten von RUVEN AFANADOR sind weltbekannt, er fotografiert opulente Modeinszenierungen, arbeitet mit Celebrities und hat bereits drei Bücher publiziert. "In his extensive body of work, Afanador has created an intensely personal language characterized by the balance of bold emotion and delicate nuance. The expressive images in his books and fashion editorials reveal extravagant dreamlike sequences that seem to emerge from Afanador’s original imagination already full grown, always splendid sometimes mischievous, often decadent, all steeped in classic formality..." MARCO TRUNZ, vertreten von SONJA HEINTSCHEL, studierte Computer Wissenschaften und kam über Umwege zur Fotografie. Aufgrund seines charmanten jungen Wesens gilt er oft noch als Newcomer in der deutschen Modefotografie, doch kann bereits ein beachtliches Portfolio und eine spannende Kundenliste vorweisen. Seine Arbeit überzeugte die Jury und katapultiert ihn auf den zweiten Platz. “My goal is to help on one hand commercial clients to develop a high standard product without having doubt on being too mainstream. And shooting fashion on the other hand in a not too artificial direction while still representing their spirit and adding layers of meaning and richness to it. I’m always keen to improve myself and push forward with whats new and apply what is needed to make it look on point. If a style of photography suits a product, it will be shot that way."
