With the conversion of Gerhard D. Wempe KG into Gerhard D. Wempe GmbH & Co. KG, with effect from January 2022, the company has taken another important step in its history. The reason for the change of name is the wish to safeguard the future of the family-owned company beyond the fourth generation.
The two previously personally liable partners of the company, Kim-Eva Wempe and her father Hellmut Wempe, have decided to let their children and grandchildren, Chiara Wempe and Scott Wempe, enter the company as limited partners.
