The Villa Cortine Palace Hotel, which opened in 1953 as a 5-star luxury hotel, is the perfect background for the AIGNER S/S 2020 campaign, photographed by ANDREAS ORTNER. The hotel is located in Sirmione, an Italian town with more than 8000 inhabitants on the south shore of Lake Garda. In front of Andreas’ camera stood beauties Anna Mila Guyenz, Lupine Wang and Aira Ferreira, styled by Lynn Schmidt.

AIGNER on its own new 2020 collection : “Beautiful, amazing, absolutely fantastic – the new Spring/Summer 2020 Divine collection is entirely dedicated to classic beauty, subtleness and modern elegance. Past collections played with numerous colors and featured a crazy mix of patterns and materials; this season’s designs are slightly more understated and therefore communicate unfussiness and elegance, although without loss of freshness and modernity. Now is the time to hold onto values and ideals!

The new ‘heritage’ theme plays a major role in this respect: AIGNER is reinterpreting its DNA in the designs, which now have a certain something that is definitely contemporary. Metallic shade finishes on grain leather make the products look completely different and new. Combining metal details in different colors unlocks completely new design possibilities. Instead of numerous strong colors and wild mixes, the collection now features muted, elegant and consciously chosen subtle colors, which results in a well-coordinated overall look. The focus is on splashes of color in ‘Dusk Blue’ as well as ‘Dusty Rose’, classic colors such as ‘black’ and ‘burgundy’ are loosened up by highlights in ‘Antique White’. Many of the bag ranges feature vachetta leather as an eye-catching color or material detail. Its special properties: over time, this leather develops its own unique character.” GoSee: aignermunich.com///ss20/divine-ss2020
