Badlands is the term to describe landscapes in arid regions deeply dissected by narrow erosion gullies. The earth’s surface in badlands is characterized by easily eroded sediments and exposed soil surfaces. A Badlands area consists mainly of constantly expanding gorges and valleys, with sharp ridges remaining in between. Some badlands also feature a spectacular display of colors that alternates from dark black/blue coal stria to bright clays to red scoria. The perfect terrain for an automobile production.
