The unit ‘La Cité Radieuse’ was built from 1947 to 1951 according to plans of the Swiss architect and has now become a UNESCO World Heritage site. The residential building made of concrete with color accents, ultramodern at the time, is home to a school, swimming pool, businesses as well as a center for contemporary art.
