Cape Town Productions : unterstützte den One Young World Kongress in Johannesburg in Kooperation mit der VANITY FAIR

"Corporate social Investment and charity work is key to the Cape Town Productions Ethos", so Gavin Levy zu GoSee und führt aus: "and it took very little motivation for us to proudly associate ourselves with Claire Singer from Vanity Fair UK and the One Young World Initiative for the 2013 Summit held in Johannesburg."

One Young World wurde 2009 von David Jones, Kate Robertson und Founding Corporate Partner Havas gegründet und ist eine UK-basierte Non-Profit Organistaion die es sich zum Ziel gesetzt hat die schlauesten jungen Köpfe des Globus zusammenzubringen mit dem Hintergedanken somit langfristig positiven Wechsel für uns alle zu bewirken. Hierzu dient das jährliche Gipfeltreffen mit Teilnehemern aus Unternehmen, Universitäten und NGOs wobei die jungen Leute dann beim Gipfel auf die üblichen Verdächtigen treffen wie Weltenlenker, Powerplayer oder auch einfach nur Politiker die dann als "One Young World Counsellors" fungieren.

One Young World formuliert es so : "The One Young World Summit brings together the young generation’s brightest and best to ensure that their concerns, opinions and solutions are heard. From there, they take action, driving positive change in their communities, companies and countries. More countries are represented at the annual One Young World Summit than any other global youth event other than the Olympics. An awesome opportunity to be a part of something great and to work alongside some of the world’s most influential leaders."

Die hier gezeigte Strecke für die VANITY FAIR wurde von Perou fotografiert. Vor seiner Kamera fanden sich so grosse Namen wie Kofi Annan, Bob Geldof, Arianna Huffington, Boris Bekker, David Jones, Kate Robertson, Richard Branson, Lauren Bush, Francois Pienaar, Erik Caldwell, Ahmed Kathrada, Ron Garan, Lily Cole ein - sowie natürlich Delegierte die den Weltengipfel besuchten.
