For the European launch of the new all-electric KIA EV2, the team at Cape Town Productions joined forces with photographer duo BAM aka Ben & Martin and Innocean Berlin in South Africa. Produced under strict secrecy, the shoot brought the “Movement that inspires” launch campaign to life.
Cape Town Productions supported the production on location, realizing the project together with Peak Productions. At the heart of the campaign is KIA’s new electric city SUV in its striking light blue finish – set within a warm, atmospheric visual world that creates an appealing contrast to the vehicle’s cool color palette.
Working closely with creatives Anna Berlin and Anika Kempkensteffen from Innocean Berlin, BAM developed a sophisticated, cinematic look somewhere between transportation and lifestyle. Rather than relying solely on classic automotive hero shots, the imagery incorporates people, movement and seemingly spontaneous moments – creating a visual language that naturally integrates the vehicle into a broader story.
As an experienced service production company in South Africa, Cape Town Productions brought its local expertise to the highly confidential automotive shoot, coordinating locations, logistics and the international crew to ensure a smooth production from start to finish.
