Carcel clothing, danish design · 100% natural materials · made in prison... The special thing about the products from Danish fashion brand CARCEL is that they are all manufactured by female inmates. Nikolaj MØLLER photographed the campaign motifs, which already appeared in DANSK MAGAZINE.
"We go where the best and most sustainable materials in the world meet the highest rate of poverty related crime. This way, we transform lost time into fair wages, skills and hopes of a better future while giving you high-quality designs that last. We keep our collection simple and strong, introducing new styles one at a time. This way, we avoid waste, respect the pace of our unique production and stay relevant. We sell exclusively online and offer quality design made of the world’s most luxurious materials – without the luxury markup..." the Label describes its concept.
Nikolaj MØLLER c/o BLINK PRODUCTION photographed the new collection from 66°NORTH, an Icelandic manufacturer of outdoor and function wear.
66°NORTH was founded in 1926 by Hans Kristjansson, who manufactured apparel for the fishers of Iceland. In the 1960s, the product range was expanded to include work clothes and leisurewear suitable for cold temperatures. The brand has since established itself as one of the most popular in Iceland. Sustainability is the name of the game today, which is why the designers rely on natural materials such as wool and get their inspiration from traditional knitting patterns. Production is driven only by wind energy and geothermal heat.
Thomas SKOU c/o BLINK PRODUCTION staged the 90s skate collection from JACK & JONES China. JACK & JONES stands for stylish fashion for the modern man. The styles are sold in more than a thousand JACK & JONES stores in 38 countries as well as via several wholesalers worldwide.
