“Born in Germany and raised in Côte d’Ivoire, I had the chance to get a deep understanding of two wonderful countries. For me, sustainability has always played an omnipresent role. Both on the Ivory Coast and in Germany.

Crafts, art and fashion are tools with which I capture my thoughts visually and create an intercultural exchange. They enable me to reflect on societal issues across generations and create a uniform solution to the problems we face.

Fashion, in particular, has an essentially uniting effect on us. For me, fashion design is not a profession. It is much more a means to an end… to get my message out. The search for passion began with my first fashion label PROTOTYPE By Paul Kadjo (2016-2021). The pieces of clothing created were at first free from commercial purposes and served rather to explore my ideas and find my signature.

In Spring 2021, I presented the new fashion brand PAUL KADJO® as part of my Bachelor’s thesis at the renowned Academy of Fashion and Design Hamburg. It was supposed to replace the first fashion brand with a holistic concept and made big headlines with its debut.” Paul Kadjo.
