Cape Town has been experiencing a dramatic drought for the third year now due to lack of rain. The water reserves of the South African metropolis are meanwhile so low that the municipal government announced at the beginning of 2018 that it would introduce a Day Zero in April – and turn citizens tap off. The situation has now gotten better – and Day Zero has been postponed until next year.
