BE UNDENIABLE is the title of the Cadillac LYRIQ campaign, which takes advantage of this year’s Pride Month to shed light on the African-Asian minority in America. Through a series of impressive portraits, captured by photographer AN LE, to insightful and no less inspiring stories, we learn much more about its identity, its resilience and the influence it has on American culture.
In an era of transformation led by audacious individuals, this campaign is an expression of bold resilience : “We at Cadillac celebrate this brave display of accomplishments born from resistance and innovation. Audacity is the mark of a true icon, unceremoniously changing industries, communities, culture, and the world.”
Portrayed were Dario Calmese, an American artist and podcaster, who originally comes from Missouri. He is the first African-American to photograph for the cover of Vanity Fair. Influenced by the multi-diverse sights and sounds of Queens, NY, Bangladeshi-born hip-hop artist Anik Khan reminds us why being undeniable is the only option for making it to the top.
Social entrepreneur and civil rights leader Amanda Nguyen stands with the Asian-American community and the fight for women’s rights worldwide. Or Thao Nguyen – a Vietnamese-born, second generation GM employee, first generation Cadillac executive – shares her journey to being undeniable with you online.
CADILLAC : “In an era of transformation led by audacious individuals, this campaign is an expression of bold resilience. We at Cadillac celebrate this brave display of accomplishments born from resistance and innovation. Audacity is the mark of a true icon, unceremoniously changing industries, communities, culture, and the world. Cadillac will continue to take action because we are impatient to affect change. This is not a symbolic gesture; this is an ongoing commitment to operate in service to the underrepresented communities.”
The first electric SUV of the brand debuted on 25 April, 2021, befitting its status, at the Academy Awards ceremony. The Lyriq is based on GM’s new electronic platform, first named BEV3 and now called Ultium. Ultium cars have a maximum range of more than 400 miles (equivalent to 644 miles), and the 400-volt batteries are recharged using a 200 kW fast charge. Prices for the Cadillac Lyriq start at $ 62,990.
Cadillac is the premium brand of the GM Company – and will be transformed over the next years to produce only all-electric models.
