"Shot in the second biggest city in Kenya, Kisumu is the home of Lupita Nyongo. We visited her in and around her humble beginnings. With a full fashion crew out of London and New York descending on what is essentially a sleepy rural village made for many excited kids and village locals. In true Testino fashion he worked the environment as if he had lived there all his life. Testino’s charisma encapsulated the locals, Lupita and her family. Lupita eased into the shoot, getting on with Testino wasn’t difficult and the pictures are proof of that. Traveling to beautiful locations to capture these images made for an amazing trip on roads less traveled. Kit Mikayi was a hit with both the crew and the locals. Its an impressive rock formation 23km outside the main town of Kisumu. With various religious practices taking place everyday at Kit Mikayi. Its a location held dear to many locals in the area. Team Vogue had an amazing, different and humbling experience, definitely one for the books."

With a privileged history of high end fashion and advertising shoots throughout the world, 10-4inc has added an office in Cape Town to compliment its London and Paris offices in order to service shoots on the African continent.
“10-4 is army code for ‘affirmative’. We pride ourselves on understanding European and American clientele, ensuring that they receive the expertise and service they are accustomed to in their home city, while translating it into an African setting.â€
10-4Africa, the Cape Town based office of industry veteran 10-4Inc in London, brings together the international production experience of Rob Kent and Scott Curnow-Baker.
Scott owned a photo agency and production company in Dubai whilst Rob learnt his trade over 9 years with Mario Testino and Art Partner in London. Rob and Scott are adventurous and experienced travellers, with all locations personally scouted to ensure in-depth and first hand knowledge.
The 10-4Africa branch already has a privileged resume of high-end productions shot at an enviable gamut of unique locations. Recent highlights include transporting Mr Porter from the inner-city of Johannesburg to the active volcanic island of Reunion; capturing Africa’s young creatives with Diesel + Edun and a fly-in international crew of 45 against the raw cityscape of Senegal; and matching locations between South Africa and France for a highly technical 1664 shoot with Fred and Farid.
10-4Africa aims to continue the 10-4 precedent by bringing first-class international fashion and advertising clients to the best of the African continent and exotic island surrounds.
