ASTRID M. OBERT had enchanting hurdle sprinter Paulina Maria Huber in front of her camera for her new editorial ‘Solar Flare’, clad in looks by German couture designer Jessy Stuchly. The spread is appearing in WICKED GAME MAG, which presents up-and-coming models, fashion designers and talented artists under the title ‘Love, Lust & Longing’.
“The southernmost region of continental Portugal, the Algarve with the famous sea cave of Benagil, creates the setting for ‘Solar Flare,’ the new story for Wicked Game Magazine. Model, muse and athlete Paulina Maria showcases the immaculate designs of German couture designer Jessy Stuchly. Based in Dortmund, Stuchly is better known for her fairy-tale tulle dresses, offered in various colors and shapes, as can be seen here glistening under the Portuguese sun,” says the photographer.
ASTRID M. OBERT presents us her spread for BURDA STYLE here on GoSee. “During lockdown, I photographed the fashion editorial ‘Africa’ with Indre Abby for BURDA STYLE. Unfortunately, the entire team was unable to travel to Cape Town as planned. We made the best of the situation and quickly converted a beach volleyball hall into a safari location. Fashion Director Sabine Maeulen took care of the styles, and Sabine Oberhuber was in charge of hair & make-up. At least it felt a bit like being at the beach in these times, when we needed some sand to walk on all day long…”
