LARUICCI is a Megawatt Jewelry collection launched in 2009. All production is based in NYC and designed by Lauren Ruicci who refined her lifelong love of embellishment and adornment during the years she spent in Italy, where she studied Fashion Design and Art History at Accademia Italiana. She later received her Masters degree in Fashion Design from Polimoda in Florence.
Upon her return to New York, Lauren began assisting Italian Vogue contributing editor & legendary stylist Patti Wilson. This exposure inspired Lauren to create her own collection of fasten-your-seatbelt statement jewelry under the name LARUICCI, comprised of tempting and glamorous necklaces, extravagant rings, and “try me if you dare” earrings.
For ten years, Laruicci has been a part of countless projects featuring artists including Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, and Rihanna as well as fashion legends such as Christie Brinkley and Pat Cleveland. Laruicci has been featured in top national and international publications including Vogue, Glamour, WWD, L’Officiel, Cosmopolitan, InStyle, Allure, Nylon, New York Times, Numero, and Teen Vogue.
