The ‘bad hair day’ editorial, which Anja snapped for QUALITY magazine, is a high fashion spread with extraordinary hair creations. Working on the fantasy-style shoot were stylist Oliver RAUH c/o LOUISA ARTISTS, make-up artist Heiko PALACH c/o BIGOUDI and retoucher SEBASTIAN REUTER as well as Pablo Kümin, who created the hairstyles on models Roksana and Anu.
And in Anja’s personal work she also focused on the details around the face. She once again worked with Heiko Palach, Oliver Rauh and Roksana on a glowing beauty series. Model Anna Kuen kept a straight face through netting, tulle and lace during Anja’s close-up shots. Dany Madau applied the make-up, while Valérie Uckermann carried out the styling. The photographer experimented with layering of portrait shots and floral imagery with an atmospheric and graphic kaleidoscope effect as part of the ‘Black Flowers’ art project.
