A native of Berlin, Kathleen has worked as a multi-disciplinary artist at the intersection of design and photography. For her clients, she creates large-scale objects and environments, with a skillful combination of space and light. Her multi-disciplinary approach to design has led her work to evolve far beyond the traditional definitions of set design. Because of her expertise and impressive concepts in the areas of interior, costume and floral design, she is meanwhile booked more and more frequently as art director.
Kathleen creates set designs, on the one hand, for bands such as Deep Purple, while on the other, developing and realizing no less inspiring concepts and installations in a commercial context for fashion and automotive clients. Among her clients besides Alexander McQueen, Audi, Marc Cain, Adidas, Maybach and Mercedes-Benz are also several renowned brands.
Kathleen’s vision can be described as self-confident, minimalist and intuitive. Striking a balance between defined and raw, from which her very own signature can always be distinguished as a mix of an experimental use of materials paired with elements of the world around her.
