CARLO STANGA c/o 2AGENTEN was once again commissioned by MOLESKINE with the illustrations for not one but two specials. For the MOLESKINE – CITY NOTEBOOKS, the illustrator residing in Berlin created views and scenes of Los Angeles and Tokyo. Carlo’s work is marked, above all, by the powerful use of color. “Our relationship to color is both universal and deeply personal. Plus, Carlos illustrated the cover of the new ASCONA Magazine.
London-based illustrator JAMES BOAST c/o 2AGENTEN presents us colorful lifestyle illustrations here on GoSee that whet our wanderlust. His illustrations are marked by inspiring vibrant colors and harmonious gradients, fascinating textures and patterns. JAMES BOAST’s multifaceted portfolio comprises editorial illustrations, book covers, packaging design, character design and web design.
“I was commissioned by German soccer team Borussia Dortmund to create these match posters for their Champions League final against Real Madrid,” Budapest resident LEHEL KOVÁCS c/o 2AGENTEN tells us.
We also present you the copycat motif, an alternative version of the Monaco-Nice match poster from last year and a possible cover idea for a fictive THE BUDAPESTER Magazine. “A project that celebrates 150 years of the unified Budapest, with 151 artists illustrating a milestone event from this timeline. All coming together as powerful covers showing what it would be like if Budapest had a magazine like the @newyorkermag. My illustration is about the building process of the iconic Hotel Budapest, which is more widely known as the Körszálló (Circle Hotel), set in 1966, designed by György Szrogh.”
A trained window dresser with a background in graphic design, Lehel’s illustrations catch the eye, are colorful and cheerful. His hand-drawn lines are usually combined with digitally created colors. He also creates silk screen prints.
JOANNA GNIADY c/o 2AGENTEN illustrated ‘THE RIGHT DOSE OF HORMONES’ in her powerful style for ELLE FRANCE as well as ‘AT THE END OF MARRIAGE’ in NZZ AM SONNTAG MAGAZINE.
Joanna has already illustrated for Opéra National de Paris, The Guardian, Netflix, IKEA and Sephora. She has a knack for Italian sculptures, vintage kimonos, Indian ink and Parisian moustaches. Fin-de-siècle images, silver shoes, stargazer lilies and dots. Museums, fleurs du mal, grand dreams, little obsessions… She is a member of the Association of Graphic Designers (STGU) – an organization that unites the best graphic designers in Poland. Their work has received awards from The AOI (shortlist of the World Illustration Awards 2017) and 3x3 International Illustration Awards, and the Professional Show (Merit Winner 2015).
