For the Zalando Fashion House event, which took place during the Berlin Fashion Week, online fashion retailer Zalando teamed up with Not Just A Label (NJAL), the talent platform for contemporary fashion. NJAL was there for a guest performance and curated the program consisting of workshops, symposiums, previews and fashion film screenings to underscore Berlin’s status as a global fashion city. In the iconic location at Kaufhaus Jandorf (which many surely remember from the last UPDATE SALON), a selection of ZALANDO items was presented alongside hand-picked collections from NJAL designers.
Showcased among others were collaborative work of designer and GoSee friend Patrick Mohr's with REEBOK and the work of Austrian designer Rani Bageria, who staged her new collection as a fashion performance exclusively for GoSee. And we met up with Stefan Siegel (Founder of NOT JUST A LABEL) and Jolanda Smit (Head of Global PR ZALANDO), who successfully concluded the final day of the event with a mutual statement and a best-of wrap-up of the 2015 Berlin Fashion Film Festival (GoSee was media partner and reported).
"The Zalando Fashion House opened its doors for fashion lovers, industry professionals, fashion students, as well as interested Berlin residents and tourists. We wish to promote international fashion talents on this platform by combining innovative technology and elements of contemporary fashion. Visitors can experience interactive fashion installations, fashion films, inspiring conversations and Zalando fashion," Claudia Reth, VP Fashion Director at Zalando SE, tells us in advance of the event.
