American potato chip manufacturer KETTLE FOODS Inc., based in Salem, Oregon, USA, and headquartered for Europe and the Middle East in Norwich, UK, was founded in 1978 by Cameron Healy as the N.S. Khalsa Company. Since 2006, it is considered the top-selling brand of natural potato chips in the US. Since March 2018, it has been part of the Campbell Soup Company based in Camden, New Jersey.
The spot presented here was realized by director duo Fatal Farm, aka Zachary Johnson and Jeffrey Max, for the agency Saatchi & Saatchi – celebrating the now available air fried potato chips. It was produced by HABITANT PRODUCTIONS for Picrow.
The air fryer prepares your chips with the help of a convection oven’s heating mechanism that circulates hot air around your food. Heat convection, besides conduction and radiation, is one of the three mechanisms for transferring energy in the form of heat from one place to another. Convection is always associated with the transport of particles that take their energy with them.
