“It’s March, something is about to sprout. Although it doesn’t quite feel like it yet, the horizon is getting broader every day. And for the new issue of ICON, we let our eyes wander with it. What’s coming? A magazine that feels like it’s capturing the feeling of the here and now.”
ANDREAS ORTNER photographed the cover spread for the March issue of ICON MAGAZINE together with Adrienne Juliger in the Austrian Alps. For the cover, the German model was clad in a satin trench coat, a leather skirt, Polo sweater, and boots made of linen and nappa leather from Tod’s. The looks were put together by Birgit Schlotterbeck c/o LIGANORD with fashions from LOUIS VUITTON, IRIS VON ARNIM, MAX MARA, CHANEL, and BOSS… to name a few, and Georgios Tsiogkas took care of hair & make-up with casting by Martin Freimoser.
The shoot took place at Hotel Almhof Schneider, which is not permitted to accommodate guests at the moment for the first time since it opened in 1929 due to the pandemic. The parking garage, neatly hidden below the hotel, was designed by the Schneiders in cooperation with Japanese designer Shinichiro Ogata according to the concept of ‘Moon and Forest’. “The overhead light of the garage is simply unique and gives it a very special atmosphere,” says model Adrienne entirely thrilled.
